Terms of Service

Last updated: August 11, 2026 - For USA Users

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using qrinvoicegenerator.com and our free QR Invoice Generator with Payment QR Code (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. This Service is intended for freelancers, small businesses, and contractors in the USA and worldwide who need to create professional invoices with payment QR codes.

2. Description of Service

We provide a free, browser-based QR Invoice Generator. You can create professional invoices, add your business and client details, and generate a scannable payment QR code linked to your Stripe Payment Link, PayPal.me, Cash App $cashtag, Venmo, Zelle, or Swiss CH IBAN (for Swiss QR-Bill) and download it as a PDF. The tool requires no signup, no account, and is free to use with no watermark. We offer 14 professional invoice templates.

3. No Account Required & Local Processing

Our invoice generator runs entirely in your browser. We do not store your invoice data, business details, client information, Stripe/PayPal links, or uploaded logos/signatures on our servers. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for keeping your downloaded PDF invoices secure. For USA tax purposes, please ensure your invoices comply with IRS requirements and consult your CPA.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes, including creating legitimate business invoices for your freelance work, small business, or agency in the USA. You agree not to use the Service to create fraudulent, misleading, or illegal invoices. You are responsible for the payment links (Stripe, PayPal, Cash App, etc.) you add to your invoices.

5. Third-Party Services

To function, the Service relies on third-party services such as Google Fonts and a third-party QR Code Generation API. When you enter a payment link (e.g., your Stripe Payment Link, PayPal.me, Cash App link, or CH IBAN for Swiss QR-Bill) and click "Generate QR", that link is sent to the QR generation service to create the QR image. We are not responsible for the availability, performance, or practices of these third-party services. We recommend only using public payment links and not entering sensitive private keys.

6. Intellectual Property

The website design, code, and the 14 invoice templates we provide are owned by QR Invoice Generator. You own your invoice content and the PDFs you generate. You are free to use the generated PDFs for your USA business invoicing without any attribution required.

7. Disclaimer - No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the invoices generated will meet specific IRS, legal, or accounting requirements for your state in the USA. For Swiss QR-Bills, while we follow the SIX Interbank Clearing standard (ISO 20022), please verify with your Swiss bank (UBS, ZKB, etc.) that the generated QR-bill meets their requirements. We are not responsible for any payment delays or errors caused by incorrect payment links you enter.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by USA law, QR Invoice Generator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update, modify, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, and we may revise these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect new features like Zelle QR, Venmo QR, or additional USA payment methods. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top.

10. Governing Law - USA

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States of America, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If you are using the Service from outside the USA (e.g., Switzerland for Swiss QR-Bills), you are still subject to these USA governing laws, and you are responsible for complying with your local laws.
